Welcome to the 2025 IACR Scientific Conference & Chinese Cancer Registry Annual Conference, hosted by colleagues from the WHO/IARC GICR Regional Hub for Cancer Registration in Northern Africa, Central and Western Asia and the Izmir Cancer Registry!  It will be the first time that an IACR Annual Scientific Conference will be held in Republic of Türkiye, and we invite you to join us in celebrating the progress that our global community has achieved in the region and across the continents.

The conference aims to promote global cancer registration and will bring together experts from around the world to share their knowledge and insights. We encourage the submission of scientific abstracts and look forward to a productive and collaborative event that will promote greater understanding and cooperation in the field of cancer registry.

This conference provides an excellent opportunity to exchange research progress using cancer registry data, strengthen professional relationships, encourage collaboration, and promote innovative approaches to cancer registration and control. Gathering in Izmir, we encourage our participants to engage in stimulating discussions, share insights, and forge new connections that will advance the field of cancer registration.  We also invite you to the pre-conference workshop that will focus on issues of interest to the global cancer registry community.
